One of the great ways to use our doTERRA oils is through aromatherapy.
To diffuse simply means to spread out or disperse over a large area, while a
diffuser is a special air pump designed to distribute essential oils into a micro-fine vapor where they stay suspended for a time to reduce airborne infectious pathogens, fungus, mold, and freshen the air with natural fragrances. Essential oils are more easily absorbed into the body through this process.
I have often been asked which diffuser is the best. Unfortunately, with so many different types of diffusers available (each with its benefits and downsides), the only way to truly answer that question is—it depends on what you like in a diffuser.
There are four different categories of diffusers available on the market today. Each of these types of diffusers differs in the way that it puts essential oils into the air, and each has different benefits. These four categories include: nebulizing diffusers, ultrasonic or humidifying diffusers, evaporative diffusers, and heat diffusers.
